Stapley, Norma K. (Kenney)
Avon: Aug. 26, 2016, at age 88. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Kenney; several nieces & nephews. Norma was predeceased by her husband, Harold “Sonny” Stapley; sister, Arlene Potter; brothers, Donald, John Kenney Sr. Norma was the Avon Village Clerk for 34 years, serving from 1952 until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church.
Family and friends are invited to call Wed., 10 - 11 AM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon, where her Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 11 AM. Interment, Avon Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Avon United Methodist Church, 130 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414.
