Avon - Barbara passed away on November 9, 2022 at age 75. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James Dolgos; children, Jeffrey (Amy) Dolgos, Timothy (Tawnya) Dolgos, and Lindsey (Joseph) Jachlewski; and 12 grandchildren who were the loves of her life: Olivia, Isabella, Matthew, Patrick, Brenna, Kalman, John, Dillon, Ian, Kyle, Quinn, and Henry.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Betty Collins; her brothers, Mark and Bruce Collins; her sister, Christine Ippolito; and so many relatives and friends we know are welcoming her with open arms.
Barb’s family was her life. Raising her three children was her greatest pride, and she was an adoring and beloved grandmother who will be so dearly missed by us all. She was often referred to as the heart and soul of the Collins clan; the family photographer; the memory keeper. She was always there for the ones she loved, whether it be a thoughtful card, sharing photographs, or her amazing cooking and baking. She is so loved and will be missed by so many.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to the Avon Free Library 143 Genesee Street Avon, NY 14414.
