Passed away on August 31, 2022 at age 70 with her family by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Carl Luft; children, Ben (Melissa) Luft, Andy Luft, Casey (Ralph) Lyons; grandchildren, Haley, Rachel, Evan, and Alex; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Lucille Johnson.
For more than 20 years she worked for the Pioneer Companies, over which time she formed great relationships with her tenants and coworkers. She had an incredible work ethic and was always willing to help someone in need. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and had a profound love of animals. She was also an avid supporter of the Lima Fire Department.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10 – 11:30 AM at the O’Connell–Dougherty Funeral Home at 2041 Lake Ave., Lima with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lollypop Farm 99 Victor Road Fairport, NY 14450.
