Predeceased by her loving husband Jim of 54 years. Karen is admired by her devoted children, Jackie (Jack) Magiera, Patti (Dan) Barefoot, Chrissy (Larry) Harris, Julie (Dave Downey), and Jim Arrigenna. Karen beamed with pride for her five grandchildren: Jaymeson (Samantha) Barefoot, Kellen Magiera, Connor (Cassie Metzinger) Magiera, Abby (Steve Geer) Barefoot and Quinn Magiera.

She fondly remembered those who went before her. Brothers John, Jim, and sister, Mary Jane. She shared a special, loving bond with “sister” Rose Biondolillo and aunt, Leah Vitale. She was grateful to family for their generosity, visits and support which included many nieces and nephews who shared so much love and kindness. She lit up with pictures, videos, and notes from great nieces and nephews. Staying connected to family was important to her. Sending cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations would have lottery tickets included. Karen connected with all generations which brought her joy. Karen’s kitchen table was the hub filled with prayer, family, friends and great food.
Her belief in life’s journey came with great appreciation to health care providers, too. This includes Dr. Sasha Nelson, Wendy Chapman, and Kerry Prentice.
