Unexpectedly on August 23, 2019 at age 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Geri; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Jeff Phillips; granddaughters, Krystle Seaman, Emily Phillips and Alyssa Phillips; 3 great- granddaughters, Sierra, Kali and Autumn. Also surviving are his brothers; David Brewer, Joseph (Linda) Brewer, Robert (Karen) Brewer, Randie (Darlene) Brewer and Tracy (Luly) Brewer and his sisters; Suzanne (Ernie) Kelly, Deanna (Don) Cook, Joan(Peter) Sowinski; many nieces and nephews.
James was predeceased by his parents Marion and Sarah Brewer, sisters; Beverly Jean Brewer, Kay Lynn Brewer, Patricia Palmiter, Norma Hurd, and his Brother, Marion L. Brewer
Friends are invited to call on Thursday 4-7 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral
Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon. His Funeral Service will be held Friday 11 AM at the Avon Wesleyan Church, 300 Genesee St., Avon. Private interment. Memorials may be made to the Avon Historical and Preservation Society, 23 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414
James was very active in the Avon Historical and Preservation Society, he enjoyed Garage Sales and Flea Markets, and was a member of the Avon Wesleyan Church, He is also retired from Kraft Foods in Avon.
