LIMA - August 20, 2019 at age 87. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas M. (Nancy) Wheat Jr. of CO, Wendy Wheat-Emerson of Lima; brothers, Stanley Donald (Judith), Robert Lynn (Barbara) Newman both of FL; grandchildren, Alexa Rose (Craig) Carson, Thomas M. Wheat III, Gregory (Ashlea), Erik (Jackie) Emerson; great-grandchildren, Parker, Jack, Josephine Elle Emerson and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.
Ellie was predeceased by her husband Thomas M. Wheat Sr., sister Evelyn Stoffel, brother Daniel Newman. Ellie was a member of the Bonita Springs Moose Lodge in Florida, and a former Girl Scout Leader.
Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the O’Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima where her Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10 AM. Interment, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14510 or the Lima Volunteer Ambulance, PO Box 335, Lima, NY 14485.
