Don was a really special man. I knew him as our son's bus driver, from the time our son was in kindergarten until he started driving himself to school at age 17. I have no special memories of my bus drivers as I was growing up, but will always have fond memories for Don. I loved how he gave the children little gifts, like small plush animals, on holidays, and always had a smile and a friendly word at pick-up and drop-off. He'd wave from the bus as I'd pass the bus in my car, too. Even when he retired, he sent out a letter to all the families on his bus route. A class act to the end. I meant to seek him out to thank him and tell him how special he was after receiving that letter. Unfortunately, life got too hectic and I never did that, and now I see that he has passed. I am very sad to hear of his passing.

My cousin Mary and her husband, Don, were both special people and will be missed by many, especially their children and grandchildren. With very fond and loving memories of both of them, I send my deepest condolences to all of the family and dear friends.

There are not many true romance stories without ups and downs. The Bellinger’s always proved at the end of the day we come together as a family get back to square one. Mary and Don have regrouped with family and neighbors lost way to soon and they did it together in the way they lived their lives. It was my family’s honor to have known them and I’m sure they have each other’s warm embrace as they watch their family left behind grieving for the loss. Bellinger’s always treated us as family and I’m proud to have had 42 years in their lives. On behalf of the Pribanich family we are so sorry for the loss of Don and Mary but proud to see such an amazing end to a love story. I pray to be so lucky. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
