LIMA - Died peacefully, March 11, 2019 at age 86. Born February 19, 1933, in Avon, NY. Martha worked many years before retiring from Xerox in Webster and later retiring as well from Monroe BOCES. She is survived by her loving children: Sandy Wilson (Mac) of Fairport; Nick (Carol) Brongo, Jr. of Greece, Rebecca (Henry) Elsasser of Poughkeepsie, Barbara Kalin of MD, Marie (Duane) Thompson of Lima, Amy (Jeff) Newman of MD; brother Clyde “Butch” Iler, Jr. of Avon; grandchildren, Tracy Strawcutter, Brandi Welling, Anitra Fey, Renee (Victor) Maevsky, Nicole Brongo, Mark (Ashley) Brongo, Henry and Ryan (Emily) Elsasser, Michael and Katherine Kalin, Lauren (Matt) Keen, Patrick Thompson, Rachel and Kelly Newman, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Helen Chase and Clyde Iler, Sr; grandson, Joshua Wilson; sisters, Patsy Benson Jones, Judy Torrens.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday 4 – 7pm at the O’Connell – Dougherty Funeral Home 2041 Lake Ave., Lima. Private interment Avon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Highland Hospital Foundation Office – Palliative Care, 1000 South Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.
