Avon: Unexpectedly April 5, 2017 at age 47. Predeceased by his parents, James and Geraldine Dempsey; brother, James and sister, Barbara Dempsey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie; son, Sean and daughter, Margaret; sisters, Elizabeth (Dale Hennigar) Wilbert and Mary (Richard) Buscetto; mother in-law and father-in-law, Wendy and Eric Melenbacker; brother-in-law, Nathan Melenbacker; many nieces, nephews and great-nephew.
Friends may call Sunday 2-5 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon. His Memorial Service will be held Monday 11 AM at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5015 Lakeville Rd. (Rte. 20A), Geneseo. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SVF Foundation, 52 Harrison Ave., Newport, RI 02840, an organization that helps to preserve rare and endangered livestock or an organization of your choice.
