Lima: Passed away peacefully on January 9, 2015. Lorada was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, James Kirkwood; her parents, Grace and D. Riley Leech; her son-in-law, Robert Johnston; and her sister, Kathleen (Lynn) Keiser. She is survived by her children, Grace Johnston, Kathy (Gary) Wolfer of Fillmore, James (Evie) Kirkwood of Lima, Joyce (Brian) Trzaskos of Messina, Linda (David) Hansen of Honeoye Falls, and Pam Kirkwood of Wellsville; her many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; the Wilmotts and the extended Kirkwood family. Lorada lived a life centered on her family, faith and home, and full of close friends.
Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 4-7 PM at the O’Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima, where her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Lima Food Pantry, PO Box 66, Lima, NY 14485.
